Passing Level 9!

Hi everyone, Guess what I just came back from - my swimming test! I was so nervous, I had butterflies in my stomach! I was swimming at a high school pool. The school is called Lynwood High School. When we got there, mum and dad got a spot ready for themselves because I wasn't allowed to sit with them. I had to sit on the other side. There were 2 shaded areas - one for the parents and the other for us swimmers. I had to wait for a long time because my instructor was busy with the other kids. Then it was time to go in to the pool. It was so hot, really hot like 40C!!!! I had to do 300 meters. If I mucked up I had to do it all over again!!! Unfortunately, I did muck up , and I had to do it all over again. On the second time I got it right so I passed!!! Here's a picture of my certificate.

There were huge waves it was good so then I could have big waves to tackle on my boogie board. Here are some pitures mum took. Until next time bye!

Chapman Pool

On the recent Monday mum dad and I went camping down south. We went to lots of places before setting up camp. First we went to a place called Sues bridge that's where we had lunch. Then we went to Canebrake Pool and we had to cross a road called Margaret road and it was horrible because there were pot holes in the road and there was soft sand!

We had two more places to go to left The first one was called Chapman Pool it was okay and very peaceful there was nobody staying there so we had the place to our self! So dad said he would like to stay here for a couple of days then we went to the 2nd place which was called Alexandra bridge it was crowded. There were signs saying that there was a general store 5km from Alexandra bridge and Chapman pool so we went to have a look mum said we had to turn right and I said you had to turn left and the sign said turn left!!

The lady there was super nice dad asked where was a good spot for fishing. The lady said Black wood river was a good place and Chapman Pool was right next to the Blackwood River so we went back to Chapman Pool and that's when mum and dad decided to stay at Chapman Pool for the whole week. While mum and dad were sorting the tent out I explored around the place and guess what I found a great fishing spot and it had natural steps made by dirt down to a dirt platform. It was awesome! There was also a boat ramp and some walk trails. Mum caught her first bream and I spotted marron twice! but I didn't catch any.

On Tuesday it was raining but we had a rain protective sheet on top of the tent. At night we would see real possums come up close to us and it would eat the rubbish!! We didn't really go any where because nobody was there to look after our tent so dad would just have to go to the general store by himself. The only time we all went out was on Tuesday, we went to a shopping centre in Karradale to buy some stuff. I also got a bull ant bite on my foot. It hurts!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are some pictures that we took.
